I had a perfectly pleasant stay at this traditional hotel. Pleasant and amicable staff who were always there to help. This property was set in a central area close enough to lovely restaurants, the pub and centre. It also was to a cafe up the road.

The staff here were efficient and excellent, the location is excellent and it's just a 25-minute drive from the airport, plus the room we had was brand-new and spacious with a shared bathroom.

They gave us a 4 poster bed with a double aspect room and we overslept it was so so comfy! I would definitely stay again what a good night's sleep!

In an excellent location. Food quality was very good and the staff were all very friendly.
The room looked a bit "tired" especially the bathroom.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, being really close to restaurants and shops and a lovely old pub. They offer very early check-in which is convenient. - the staff are efficient, affable, and always have a smiling face. - There is a variety of great food options available for meals at the hotel.

It was convenient for the place I wished to visit
It was chaotic. The lights were very dim. It was very funny. For example, the girl in a red top asked what we wanted for breakfast (when we had emerged from the dimly lit cupboard where we self-served ourselves to orange juice coffee etc.). I asked whether the tomatoes were fresh or tinned. She said I could have either. I therefore asked for fresh tomatoes with my bacon and egg. The tomato that arrived was uncooked. It was hilarious! They were serving an English breakfast, but clearly had no idea what that was. It was a bit like Fawlty Towers.

Only the fact it was the nearest hotel to a Antique Fair we were attending.
Food was very average. Breakfast consisted of 1 piece of toast each, diy tea and coffee, cereals, and some rotten fruit ( 4 black bananas and two rotten apples). Rooms were very 'tired'. Curtains and valance on four poster were musty.Lighting was very dim.

The reception was chaotic and didn't have any record of my booking for 2 single and 1 double room, which I made on the internet and was confirmed about 3 months ago. However we were all found a bedroom. The staff were generally friendly and helpful
